Generally, golf carts do not have lights installed. They come as additional kits that you need to install if you plan to drive the cart on public roads. In order to drive the carts on the roads, they have to be equipped with headlights and tail-lights. Usually the light kits supplied contain instructions that help you to install the lights quickly provided you have some electrical knowledge.

Light kits are readily available in shops that sell golf equipment. Choose the one more suitable for your cart.
Once the kit is opened make sure it contains everything required. Read the instructions carefully.
Disconnect the battery.
After parking the cart, choose the location on the cart for lights to be fixed so that light falls exactly on the road and not on the oncoming drivers.
Based on the kit you have purchased you may have to drill holes to attach the mount or you may have to use a clamp attachment which needs to be fixed on the bumper.
